Dr. Kaufmann will receive an honorary ministerial degree and ordination at AFSI on June 29. All Faiths Seminary International (AFSI) was founded by Rabbi Joseph H. Gelberman in 1981 as the first school of its kind. Its unique mission, “to train interfaith ministers and spiritual counselors to serve the needs of the world community” was what the late founder believed was needed to make a difference in the world. AFSI is dedicated to cultivating religious understanding, and acceptance of all religious and spiritual paths. The school was established for professionals committed to nurturing the integrity of the individual and their own spiritual path.
